This article will focus on the Republic of Madagascar. In the picture, a midwife is doing prenatal testing for a pregnant woman. But there, how many pregnant women can receive comprehensive prenatal testing?

According to the poverty line standards set by the United Nations, more than 95% of Madagascar’s citizens belong to the poor, and even 90% of the population has a daily income of less than US$2. Therefore, the lack of medical infrastructure caused by economic backwardness is an important reason that many pregnant women in the country lack comprehensive prenatal testing as an important reason.

Ultrasonography can effectively rule out ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion, and screening for fetal malformations, which greatly reduces the degree of injury to pregnant women.
