Regrettable Little Girl

Regrettable Little Girl

Yesterday afternoon, we received a diagnosis case of ultrasound product DW-L5 from a Somali customer. What makes me very distressed is that the patient is a 10-year-old girl who has clinically diagnosed pericardial effusion with dilated coronary sinus on ultrasound, and was diagnosed with recurrent pneumonia.
At a young age, suffering from diseases can inevitably make people sigh. Pneumonia is one of the most common, widespread and serious diseases in pediatric patients worldwide. Common imaging methods are chest X-ray and chest CT, but both can cause ionizing radiation. Because the physical and immune systems of children and newborns are not yet fully developed, the potential risk of radiation is greater than that of adults.
Ultrasound has the advantages of non-radiation, multi-layer and dynamic scanning. It is often used in the auxiliary diagnosis of lung diseases. It has been proven to be an effective and easy-to-master inspection method to diagnose pneumonia. A number of studies have confirmed that compared with bedside chest radiographs, lung ultrasound scanning for pneumonia has higher sensitivity and specificity (both between 92% and 98%), and can even replace chest X-rays as the first choice for diagnosing pneumonia Bedside examination.
I sincerely hope that with the help of Dawei ultrasound products, that pretty girl can restore her health as soon as possible.
